Google Search and Google Now Launcher get the new logo, icon, and a newer UI

Earlier today, we reported that Google has a new logo, and a favicon.

The Mountain View Company has already rolled out an update for two of its apps, adding the two new cosmetic touches.

The apps which have the new eye-candy are Google Search and Google Now Launcher. These screenshots show the new logo in the Google Search Bar, in Nova Launcher (below), and the G icon and the colorful mic icon in the Google Now Launcher. (above)

And there are some minor changes to the UI of the Google Now Cards too.

The icon looks good but the logo itself, is a bit comical. You can download the latest Google Search App from APK Mirror (for Android 4.4+ devices, and 4.1+ devices).
