The news comes from Samsung UK’s Twitter account. Responding to a query from a user, Samsung UK confirmed that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be updated to Android Lollipop.
Here is what the Tweet said:
@Antonio46366149 We can confirm that the Note 3 Neo will be moving to lollipop. Have you tried manually looking for updates? 1/2

The hexa-core phablet is certainly capable of running the latest version of Android. There is no ETA however, about when the update would be released. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will update the Note 3 Neo to Android 5.0 worldwide, as the company has previously infamously skipped Android updates for certain regions and flagship devices like the Galaxy S3.
