Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone, called the Pioneer P4S, in India.
The phone flaunts a 4.5-inch WVGA Display (854×480 pixels), and is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 Chipset featuring a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor and 1GB of RAM.
The Gionee Pioneer P4S runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports an upgraded HotKnot function for transferring files, and comes with NQ Mobile Security. It has 8GB of internal storage. The phone sports a 5 Megapixel rear camera, and a 2 Megapixel front camera for selfies. Gionee says that the camera shoots 99 images in 21 seconds.
The Pioneer P4S is a Dual SIM phone which supports 2G and 3G networks. offers security features packed with NQ Mobile Security. The phone is backed by a 1,800 mAh battery. The phone measures 134.5mm x 67.7mm x 8.7mm, and comes in a semi-transparent crystal shell.
The tagline of the P4S is ‘Flip. Enjoy,’ , and as you can guess from it, the phone comes with a flip cover. The cover has a Window which lets you see the time time, date, weather and contacts during a phone call.
The Gionee Pioneer P4S will be available in India at a price of Rs. 7,799 (MOP).
