Lava Iris X1 Grand & Iris X1 Mini launched in India for Rs. 7,326 and Rs. 4,348

LAVA has launched two new mid ranged Android smartphones in it’s X1 series.

The first of the two is the LAVA Iris X1 Grand.

The X1 Grand sports a 5″ IPS Display which supports a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a Quad Core MedtiaTek MTK6592M processor clocked at 1.3GHz, and 1 GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB.

The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, out of the box, but will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The X1 Grand features an 8 Megapixels camera on the back with Auto Focus, LED Flash, and a high quality BSI II Sensor. It also sports a 2 Megapixels front camera. The phone is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery.

The X1 Grand comes with an Intelligent Flip Cover that allows users to access the phone’s functions without the need of switching to the main screen. Additionally, the phone comes packed with Smart Wake-up and Gesture controls to directly jump to applications from the locked screen.

Iris X1 Mini

The X1 Mini features a 4″ IPS Display, and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, and 512 MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and sports a 5 Megapixel rear camera with PureCel Sensor, LED Flash, 4x Digital zoom, and a VGA front camera. I is backed by a 1,750 mAh battery.

Both phones will be available across stores, and e-commerce portals in India from the first week of February.
