Xiaomi launches the 2015 flagship devices Mi Note and Mi Note Pro

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its 2015 flagship phablets, the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro.

Xiaomi Mi Note

The Mi Note is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides, and has a metal frame body.

The front has a 2.5D Glass, while the back has a 3D Curved Glass.The display is massive at 5.7″ Full HD ( 1920 x 1080, at 386 PPI,). It is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 3GB of RAM.

The Mi Note sports a 13 Megapixels rear camera featuring a Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 6 element lens and a Philips 2-tone flash for natural colours in photos. It also supports Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The front camera is a 4 Megapixel lens with large 2-micron pixels.

The Hi-Fi audio system of the phablet supports a large number of modern Audio formats in lossless quality: MP3, APE, FLAC, DSD and WAV. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, which supports Quick Charge.

Mi Note

The Mi Note comes in two storage variants 16 GB priced at ¥2299 (about $370 or 23,000 Rupees) and a 64 GB model priced at ¥2799 (about $450 or 28,000 Rupees).

Mi Note Pro

The Note pro is a premium phablet, which runs on a 64 Bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It has a 5.7 inch display which supports 2K resolution, 2560 x 1440 pixels at 515 PPI. It has an Adreno 430 GPU, and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The phablet has 64 GB of on board storage with support for an external memory card. It is 4G enabled, wand supports LTE-CAT 9, which will have up to 450 Mbps download speeds.

Mi Note Pro

The Mi Note Pro has been priced at  ¥3299 (about 33,000 Rupees or $530)

It is unclear which version of Android the phones will run on, but it is expected to come with Android Lollipop with MIUI 6.
