Xiaomi  with the success of low-cost smartphones like Redmi 1S, has been working on ultra low-cost Android Smartphones with good specifications which can cater to a large entry-level smartphone consumers in Asia including India. The latest leak or detail of Xiaomi ultra low-cost smartphone throws some light on it. Almost all the major details of the Xiaomi’s $65 LTE smartphone is revealed now.

Xiaomi 65$ smartphone Xiaomi’s $65 LTE smartphoneis not powered by the usual Qualcom or Meditek processor but Chinese manufacturer Leadcore LC1860 CPU. The LC1860 CPU is based on a 28nm Cortex A7 architecture running at 2.0Ghz supplemented with a Mali T628 GPU.

The SoC chip can support up to 2K LTE displays, and offers 1080p video capture at 60fps. It is  built with 4G LTE, 3G and GSM support. We are not yet sure about how good the CPU will be in terms of performance even though it supports a lot of features.

We expect the device to come with 720p display and 1 GB of RAM.
