Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 launched in India Rs. 37800 and Rs. 44800

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 in India, less than a month after they were unveiled.

Exactly a week ago, the company had launched the Galaxy Tab 4 7.o in India.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 an the 10. 5 feature Super AMOLED displays,  and run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. They will be powered by an Octa Core Exynos processor, and 3GB of RAM. They will sport an 8 megapixel snapper on the back with LED Flash, and a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front. The 8.4 inch model packs a 4900 mAh battery, while the 10.5″ tablet, packs a 7900 mAh battery.

In addition to WiFi, they will also support mobile data and voice calling via 3G, 2G.

Samsung are also planning to launch LTE versions of these tablets in India soon.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 costs Rs. 44,800, while the Galaxy Tab S 8,4 costs Rs. 37,800 ($630) and Rs. 44,800 ($745).  The prices are very high compared to the Wi-Fi only variants which retail for $399 and $499.

Both tablets will be available in two colors: Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White, and will be available from stores across the Country from the second week of July.
