Samsung isn’t done with surprising their fans. After the super popular launch of the Galaxy S 4 last week, they are planning to gift their fans with existing Samsung devices with OS updates.

According to SamMobile‘s blog, an insider working for Samsung revealed a list of their mobiles which will get the latest version of JellyBean 4.2.2. But the bad news is that this latest JellyBean 4.2.2 may be the last android update for these devices.

Here is the list of the Samsung Android Mobiles which will receive their final updates, to JellyBean 4.2.2:

  • GT-I9080 – Galaxy Grand
  • GT-I9082 – Galaxy Grand DUOS
  • GT-I8160 – Galaxy Ace 2
  • GT-I8190 – Galaxy S III mini
  • GT-I8350 – Galaxy Beam
  • GT-I8730 – Galaxy Express
  • GT-I9070 – Galaxy S Advance
  • GT-I9100 – Galaxy S II
  • GT-I9105 – Galaxy S II Plus
  • GT-I9260 – Galaxy Premier
  • GT-N7000 – Galaxy Note
  • GT-S6310 – Galaxy Young
  • GT-S6312 – Galaxy Young DUOS
  • GT-S6810 – Galaxy Fame
  • GT-S7710 – Galaxy X Cover 2

So, this will also be the last update for popular older devices Galaxy S II and Note. But its good to see that the Korean Electronics Giant isn’t letting old devices die, as many of the mobiles which we have listed were initially shipped with Gingerbread. I find it incredible that they will be getting JellyBean soon.

Samsung has truly outdone themselves and are establishing themselves as the best smartphone manufacturer.
