Earlier rumors indicated that Lenovo Zuk Edge may be launched in first week of december, but that passed without any launch. Finally we have an official launch date for Lenovo Zuk Edge and as per the official teaser released by Lenovo, the company has scheduled a launch event on 20th December 2016 at 2 PM in China, to launch Zuk Edge.

The launch event teaser includes a partial image of the top of the smartphone and we can clearly see the narrow bezels at the top of the front screen. The display appears to be curved at side, but we are not so sure as TENAA listing of Zuk Edge indicates a flat display instead of curved one. THe front camera at top of the screen is also visible and the speakers in middle.

We have already seen alleged real images of the device apart from getting spotted on Antutu and renders of the device released by Lenovo executive.

Lenovo Zuk edge is rumored to sport a 5.5 inch Full HD display powered by Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It comes with a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by 3,000 mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, it measures 142.9 × 74.5 × 7.68 mm and weighs 160 grams. It is expected to be priced at 2699 Yuan for the standard variant. Rumors indicate a higher or premium variant of the device with 6 GB of RAM. There may be variants of the device with different internal storage capacities too.

As the official launch date is out, we just need to wait few days more to get our hands on Zuk Edge. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
