Last week we reported that official launch of Xiaomi next flagship device i.e. Xiaomi Mi 6 may be delayed till April 2017 thanks to “Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 not ready yet”, today we have a new rumor spotted on Chinese social network weibo, in the form of an alleged screenshot of Antutu Benchmark running on Xiaomi Mi 6. The leaked Benchmark screenshot shows that Xiaomi Mi 6 scores a whopping 2,10,329 on Antutu which is a pretty big score which if true is not yet achieved by any other existing flagship device. Earlier leak of a Snapdragon 835 powered device indicate a score of 181,434 on Antutu.
Xiaomi existing flagship device MI 5 scores in the range of 142,000 on Antutu and if the leaked benchmark score is true, it means a jump of ~50% in terms of performance of Mi 6 over existing Mi 5. Another flagship device OnePlus 3T powered by Snapdragon 821 processor scores a Antutu Benchmark score in the range of ~162,000 which is marginally better than Snapdragon 820 score. Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be powered by upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and this Antutu score (if true) is reflecting the great processing capabilities of the new processor.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to comes with 6 GB of RAM running MIUI 9 OS based on either Android 7.0 or Android 7.1 Nougat. Rumors also indicate Dual cameras and support for Xiaomi Fast charge. Other features of the device include an ultra narrow frame for the device and four antennas. Some renders of alleged Mi 6 leaked earlier, but they showed a single camera setup instead of a dual camera setup. Xiaomi is yet to announce any official details about the its upcoming flagship device or any launch details.
