Xiaomi launched their flagship device Xiaomi Mi 6 in April 2017. It’s just nearly three months and the company has started teasing a new flagship device launch set for July 11 which is just two days away. The company has released a teaser image poster which asks about what 6 GB of RAM means? Does it mean smoother, faster, more tasks, more efficient or something more? You can find more about it on July 11, 2017. Xiaomi already has few devices with 6 GB of RAM i.e. Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note 2, Mi MIX and Mi 6.
Apart from the teaser image, Xiaomi has also released a video which gives us a sneak peek into the specifications of the upcoming flagship device. As per the teaser video, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship device is powered by Snapdragon 8XX processor with UFS storage and DDR4 RAM. It also indicates a 3D glass body with a large display.The teaser indicates that the phone features a 22 MP camera that can record 4K videos & comes with a smart beauty mode and is backed by 4,000 mAh battery. It also indicates a USB Type-C port with support for Quick Charge, an IR blaster and NFC.
All these specifications point out to a flagship device and if recent rumours are to be believed, it may be the “Plus” variant of existing flagship device from Xiaomi i.e. Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. Mention of a large display and bigger battery in the video teaser, also suggests the plus variant of Mi 6.
