Xiaomi Mi 4i: Snapdragon 615, 2GB RAM goes official in India for Rs.12,999

Just few hours after ASUS announced Zenfone 2 in India starting at Rs. 12,999, Xiaomi too has finally unveiled Mi 4i in India at a global launch event today,  the lighter version of its popular Mi 4 smartphone.

Mi 4i-

Mi 4i sports a 5-inch Sharp/JDI 1080p Full HD display, with resolution  of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 441 PPI. It is powered by a 2nd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor clocking at 1.7 GHz and 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM.

In terms of camera, it features a Sony / Samsung 13 MP f/2.0 rear and 5 MP f/1.8 front camera. It supports 2G/3G/ 4G and is a dual-SIM, dual-standby smartphone. In terms of storage, it comes with 16GB of internal flash memory. The device runs the latest version of MIUI i.e. MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0.

The device is powered by 3120 mAh battery which appears to be the biggest battery in this price range of smartphones from competitive manufacturers.

Price and Availability

The device will be available for Rs. 12,999 and will be sold via Flash Sale model. The first sale for Mi 4i (white) starts on 30 Apr on Flipkart, registration for which starts tonight at 8pm on flipkart.com/mi.
