Samsung Galaxy M51 with Snapdragon 730 and 7000 mAh battery launching in India on Sept 10

After officially announcing Samsung Galaxy M51 in Germany, Samsung has announced the official launch date for the mid-range phone in India. As per the official announcement and Amazon India micro-site, the official launch date for Galaxy M51 in India is September 10.

Even though Samsung makes it official in Germany, the official listing still avoided detailed specifications and specifies the SOC/processor powering the phone only as an Octa-core processor. Google Play listing did indicate the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SOC coupled with an Adreno 618 GPU, yet there was no official confirmation of the same. The official Amazon India page now confirms that the phone is powered by Snapdragon processor as hinted by the Google Play listing.

Galaxy M51 Snapdragon

Thanks to official unveiling in Germany, we already know most of the specs of the phone including official renders. The Samsung Galaxy M51 sports a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED Plus display with a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera at the top of the screen. The phone runs on One UI Core based on Android 10, and the device is protected by Samsung Knox on the hardware and software level.Samsung Galaxy M51 It is powered by an octa-core processor (Snapdragon 730) along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with microSD card support up to 512GB of expandable memory. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is backed by a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 25W Fast Charging. In the camera department, the handset boasts quad cameras comprising a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123° FOV, an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash.

Samsung Galaxy M51 price in India
