Redmi Note 11 Pro series set to launch on March 9th in India

The Redmi Note 11 Pro launch date has been confirmed. The brand had started teasing the arrival of the devices, a couple of days ago in India.

A teaser image shared by the company hints at the technical specifications of the phones. Here is a recap of what we know about the devices so far.

The upcoming event is said to feature not one, but 2 new phones: the Note 11 Pro and the Note 11 Pro+. The Pro version is expected to be a 4G handset, powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor. The device will sport a 6.6-inches Full HD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The Note 11 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W Fast Charging. The handset is said to run on MIUI 13 based on Android 11. The front panel of the phone is equipped with a 16MP selfie lens. The rear cameras on the device is home to a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED Flash.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will have 3 cameras on the back: 108MP + 8MP + 2MP. The 5G phone is reportedly powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor.

Redmi will announce the Note 11 Pro, and the 11 Pro+ on March 9th in India. The event will be streamed live at 12 noon on the brand’s social media channels.
