The Redmi 9 has been spotted on Lazada’s Philippines website. It reveals the phone’s design, specifications and price.
The phone sports a 6.53-inch FullHD+ display with a water-drop notch to house the 8MP selfie camera. The bezels are fairly narrow apart from a slight chin. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor with 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 32GB/64GB of storage. The Redmi 9 has a dedicated microSD card slot for additional memory.
Moving to the back panel, the Redmi 9 boasts a quad camera setup comprising an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with 118° FOV, f/2.2 aperture, a 13MP wide-angle primary camera with 75.2° FOV, f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, a 5MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED flash.
The back panel on the Redmi 9 resembles one of Xiaomi’s recent devices, i.e., Redmi K30 Pro/Poco F2 Pro‘s design with a circle around the camera bump. Three of the lenses along with the fingerprint scanner are placed together in a vertical bump, while the other camera and the LED flash sit in a mini vertical bump.
The Redmi 9 has an anti-fingerprint texture back, which though appears glossy, certainly doesn’t look like glass. The phone is backed by a 5020 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
The Redmi 9 retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and IR blaster.

Redmi 9 price leaked
The Redmi 9 price begins at PHP 6,990 (about Rs. 10,000) for the 3GB/32GB model, while the 4GB/64GB version costs PGP 7,490. The device comes in three colours: Green, Purple and Grey.
According to the listing, the Redmi 9 will be available on June 25th.
