Realme is gearing up to announce a couple of new devices, with the Realme Narzo 50 series. The phones are set to be unveiled on September 25th in India, via a live stream that has been scheduled for 12:30 PM.

Realme Narzo 50 series launch date

The OEM is jumping from Narzo 30 to 50, skipping the Narzo 40 moniker, as the number 4 is considered ominous in China.

Just like its predecessor, the upcoming series is expected to consist of two phones, the Narzo 50 and Narzo 50A. The company has a promo page up on its site, that highlights key features of the specifications.

Realme Narzo 50 processor

The Realme Narzo 50 series has a water-drop notch display. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 gaming processor. The Narzo 50A packs a large 6000mAh Mega Battery.

The rear camera array on the Narzo 50 series has triple lenses comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The brand is touting the device as capable of taking Super Nightscape photos.

The rear panel of the phone pictured in the teaser images has a two-tone finish, and this time the phone doesn’t seem to carry the large “Dare to Leap” tag line. The circular recess in the camera bump looks like it houses a fingerprint reader, but we are not sure about it, since the placement is way too high which would make it awkward to reach.
