Periscope for Android is here, Twitter has officially launched its live-streaming app, for Android devices.

The Meerkat rival, is one step ahead of the competition and lets users Replay the broadcast.

Viewers will be able to comment and “heart” the videos. You can broadcast live videos privately to specific people, or let it stream to the World.

Your followers will be notified instantly, when you begin broadcasting, and you can even tweet a link before broadcasting, which can be used to watch your live video.Periscope also has a follow system, similar to Twitter, and will even suggest people, whom you can follow.

The app is compatible with all devices running on Android 4.4 KitKat and above, including Tablets too, but you will need a rear camera for broadcasting live video.
