OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 12 A.14 update for OnePlus 10 Pro to users. It brings some important fixes to the flagship phone.

What’s new in the OxygenOS 12 A.14 update for OnePlus 10 Pro

The firmware brings the latest security update from Google. Aka the May 2022 Android Security Patch. OnePlus says that it has improved the stability of the system, but does not go into further details about what has been optimised.

An issue that was causing a noise while recording has been mitigated. The OxygenOS 12 A.14 update patches a bug that was causing music playback to stutter when the phone was connected to a Bluetooth car kit.

The camera app should no longer result in overdosing images in HDR photos. The change log for the update mentions the network stability for phone calls has also been optimized. The update weighs about 300MB to download from the previous version. The size of the full image is around 4.2GB if you use an app like Oxygen Updater to download the update.

The firmware version number of the OxygenOS 12 A.14 update for OnePlus 10 Pro is NE2211_11.A.14. The software update is currently available in India, but the company says it will be released soon in other regions.

OnePlus is seeding the update in batches, so it will take a few days before it is available for all users. If you haven’t received it yet, you try checking for the update manually from the Settings app.
