The OnePlus 2 16GB variant has officially been launched in India.

OnePlus 2 16GB India

The move is not surprising, as the company had made clear it’s intention to sell the cheaper variant, in Asia, when it recently announced the discontinuation of the OnePlus 2 16GB in the U.S and Europe.

The reason cited was low sales of the variant, thanks to the minor price difference between it and the 64GB variant. Speaking of which the only other differences between the OnePlus 2 16GB vs OnePlus 2 64 GB are that the 16GB variant has lesser storage (obviously), and only 3GB of RAM.

The rest of the specifications remain the same.

The pricing doesn’t seems to make much sense, as you can get the 64GB variant of the phone with 4GB RAM for just an additional 2000 Rupees.
