Nokia G10 and Nokia C01 Plus launched in India

HMD Global has announced two affordable devices, called the Nokia G10 and Nokia C01 Plus, in India.

The G10 sports a 6.5 inches HD+ display with a 20:9 Aspect Ratio and V-shaped water-drop notch. The phone runs on Android 11 and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and supports up to 512GB of additional memory via a microSD card slot. In the connectivity department, the device supports Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm Headphone jack, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The selfie lens housed in the notch is an 8MP camera. The Nokia G10 has triple cameras on the back, comprising a 13 megapixels primary sensor, a 2 MP Depth sensor, a 2 MP Macro sensor and an LED LED.

The phone measures 164.9 x 76 x 9.2 mm and weighs at 197g. It packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging over a USB Type-C port. The G10 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated Google assistant button.

The entry-level C01 Plus sports a 5.45 inches HD+ display with an 18:9 Aspect Ratio, and a resolution of 720 X 1440 pixels. The phone runs on  Android 11 (Go edition). It is powered by a UNISOC SC9863A octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage and supports up to 128GB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.

The Nokia C01 Plus is backed by a 3000mAh battery that charges over a Micro USB port. The phone weighs 157g and measures 9.3 x 148 x 71.8 mm. The phone supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The C01 Plus has a 5MP selfie camera with a front LED flash. The rear camera is also a 5MP sensor with a Rear flash LED. The handset does not have a fingerprint reader, but supports Face Unlock using the front camera.

The Nokia G10 has been priced at Rs. 12,149, while the Nokia C01 Plus costs Rs. 5,999. Both devices are available for purchase from Amazon and Nokia India’s websites.
