New Xiaomi Mi Max leak suggest Snapdragon 820 variant with 3D touch

Just few hours back we reported a gfxbench listing of Xiaomi Mi Max which suggested that it is a mid range smartphone / phablet powered by 1.8 GHz hexa-core CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Now we have another leak which points another high-end variant of Xiaomi Mi Max powered by Snapdragon 820. Xiaomi Mi Max is scheduled to be launched on May 10 along with MIUI 8 on same day.

Check out the Xiaomi Max leak below which appears to be one of the slides of its advertisement.

Xiaomi Mi Max Snapdragon 820

As per this leak, The high-end variant of Xiaomi Mi Max is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and comes with 128 GB of internal storage. The home button in the screen points out to presence of a fingerprint sensor similar to Mi 5.

The leak also suggest a main rear camera of 21 MP and points towards presence of 3D Touch like pressure sensitive display similar to Apple’s iPhone 6S Plus smartphone.

As per this leak, the high-end Snapdragon 820 variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage would be priced at 1999 Yuan.

Xiaomi Mi Max Snapdragon 820-

The leak appears more credible as it is quoted by Jun Lei, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi on weibo. The quoted message when translated into English says:

This is the ad.
