New Realme UI 2.0 Early Access Roadmap announced; it’s still not impressive

Android 11 was announced by Google in September 2020, that was 6 months ago. In fact, Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 was released in September too.

New Realme UI 2.0 Early Access Roadmap announced

Many devices from the brand are yet to be updated, so you may be wondering when your Realme device will get the Android 11 Update.

The company has released a Realme UI 2.0 Early Access Roadmap. Let’s start with the first phone that’s in line to receive the beta version, the Realme X7 Pro, it is scheduled to be updated in April.

It will be followed by the Realme X7 and the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition in May. The next month, June, will bring the latest update to 5 devices; the Realme X, Realme XT, Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro and the Realme Narzo 20A. The last set of phones to get the update are the Realme Narzo 30 Pro and the Realme Narzo 30A, and these are set to be updated in Q3, 2021.

Our thoughts about the Realme UI 2.0 Early Access Roadmap

The roadmap that was announced today, is not impressive, many other brands have already updated most if not all their devices to the latest OS already. It is also worth mentioning that Realme is yet to update the Realme X2 Pro and the Realme X3 to Realme UI 2.0, and these are flagship products from the company.

Speaking of delays, the “Early Access” is nothing but a beta test. So, stable updates will arrive even slower.
