Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 launched in China

Motorola has launched two foldable phones in China. Meet the Moto Razr 40 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra.

Moto Razr 40 Ultra specs

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra sports a clamshell design with a 6.9-inches Full HD+ pOLED internal display. It has a screen resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels, a 165Hz Refresh Rate, a 5000000:1 Contrast Ratio, HDR10+, 1400 nits brightness, DCI-P3, 87% screen-to-body ratio, and has an 22:9 Aspect Ratio. The external screen is 3.6-inches in size and has a resolution of 1066 x 1056 pixels, supports 144 Hz Refresh Rate, and 1000 nits brightness.

The foldable phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, and an Adreno 730 GPU. The mobile runs on Android 13, has 8 GB/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB / 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The selfie lens on the device is a 32 megapixels camera that has an f/2.4 aperture. The dual camera array on the rear of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra consists of a 12 megapixels snapper with an f/1.5 aperture, and a 13 megapixels macro/wide-angle lens, with an f/2.2 aperture, and an LED Flash. The cameras support optical image stabilization (OIS).

Connectivity options on the Moto Razr 40 Ultra include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6e 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou location services.

Motorola has packed a 3800 mAh battery in the Moto Razr 40 Ultra, the cell supports 30W Fast Charging via a USB Type-C, port, and Wireless charging. Sensors on the phone include a fingerprint sensor, a gravity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, and an X axis linear motor. The device has an IP52 Rating for splash resitance, measures 170.83 x 73.95 x 6.99 mm and weighs 184.5g.

Moto Razr 40

The Moto Razr 40 is equipped with the same internal display as the Ultra, but the external screen is 1.47-inches in size, has a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels, and supports 60 Hz Refresh Rate. The foldable phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor clocked at 3.20 GHz, with an Adreno 644 GPU, 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128 GB / 256 GB UFS 2.2 of storage.

Moto Razr 40 specs

The selfie lens on the front of the Moto Razr 40, and the ultra-wide lens on the rear are similar to the lenses on the Ultra model. But the primary sensor on the Razr 40 is a 64 megapixels camera. The smartphone packs a 4200 mAh battery.
