Amazon is discounting three M5 MacBook Air configurations in the US, with the largest cuts worth $150. We checked all three listings directly, and the prices below were live as of September 30. MacRumors, which flagged the deal, calls these the best prices it has seen on the M5 MacBook Air since Apple’s summer price increases.
The discounts land on higher-memory and higher-storage builds. That is where Apple’s own upgrade pricing usually hurts most, which makes these more interesting than a standard markdown.

The Three M5 MacBook Air Deals
- 13-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, Sky Blue: $1,449.00, down from a $1,599.00 list price, a $150 saving
- 15-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage: $1,399.00, a $100 saving
- 15-inch M5 MacBook Air, 24GB RAM, 1TB storage: $1,849.00, a $150 saving
All three are sold through Amazon in the US. Retailer prices can change or expire without notice, so confirm the figure on the listing before you commit.
Which One Is Worth It
The 24GB/1TB 15-inch model at $1,849.00 is the most useful discount of the three. Apple charges a steep premium for both the memory and the storage jump. It is also the configuration most people want and then talk themselves out of. A $150 cut does not erase the premium, but it takes some sting out of it.
The 13-inch 16GB/1TB build at $1,449.00 is the pick if portability matters more than screen area. Note that this price is tied to the Sky Blue colour. If you want a different finish, check whether the same discount applies.
The 15-inch 16GB/512GB at $1,399.00 carries the smallest saving at $100. It is the cheapest of these three, though 512GB fills up faster than you expect. That matters if you keep large photo or video libraries on the machine itself.
One honest caveat. A discount on a current-generation machine is a good moment to buy only if you need a laptop now. If you are replacing something that still works, Apple’s next refresh cycle will reset the discount landscape anyway.
