LG is set to officially announce LG Q6 today at an event in Poland. LGQ6 is rumoured to be the mini variant of the company flagship device LG G6. LG Q6 is expected to come with a smaller display and trimmed down hardware specifications compared to LG G6. The rumoured specifications of the device put the phone under a mid-range category or entry-level smartphones.

Based on the rumours till date, the upcoming LG Q6 smartphone is expected to feature a 5.4-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 that we saw in LG G6, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 3 GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based operating system. It will measure 142.6 x 69.3 x 8.1mm in size. In terms of camera, it is rumoured to come with13 MP main rear camera with LED flash and another  5 MP front shooter for selfies. The phone doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor which is quite odd.

Whereas,  LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch QHD FullVision display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821  along with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB UFS 2.0 internal storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system. In terms of camera, it comes with main dual camera setup consisting of 13 MP + 13 MP sensor and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 3300 mAh battery along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charge. Other features that come with LG G6 include Water & Dust Resistant, Fingerprint Sensor, UX 6.0, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
