A month ago, LG announced that they would be launching three new tablets in the G Pad series.

LG G PAD Series 500

The three tablets have been launched today. They are, the LG G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1.

All of the devices are powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor,  and 1GB RAM. Though the sizes of the Display differs, they all support the same resolution (1280 x 800). The other differences in the hardware include the Camera, and the battery capacity. You can read about them in the tables below.

Though no official information has been provided about the operating system, we expect they will run Android 4.4 KitKat out out of the box.

The tablets come with LG’s proprietary app technologies such as QPair 2.0, Smart Keyboard, Knock Code. QPair 2.0, allows the user to connect the tablet with an Android smartphone, using a Bluetooth connection. The user can then respond to calls and messages directly from the G Pad.

The Smart Keyboard can help reduce typing errors, and also adapts to the user’s texting style, and offers better word prediction. Knock Code offers a variety of methods to unlock the device, using different combinations on the screen. The tablets also have a Dual Window feature, which  splits the screen, to allow multitasking.
