LG G5 will have an always on display, the South Korean electronics giant has announced on its Facebook page.
The GIF featured above shows a preview of the display will function.
As you can see, the phone will display the clock, the day and date, the number of missed calls, new text messages, emails and more. This suggests that the phone will be using an AMOLED display. LG terms the feature as “Never go asleep while others do. LG G5, Always ON.”
The image also suggests that the LG G5 will be launched on February 21st, at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. This has already been confirmed in a Tweet from the company, which was deleted last week.
