iQOO opened nationwide reservations in China for the iQOO Pad Pro on October 10, an 8.8-inch tablet that weighs 298 grams. The company is building it around gaming rather than media or productivity. ITHome reports that the iQOO Neo product manager confirmed the chipset pairing directly on Weibo, posting as @iQOO慧慧子. It is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 alongside iQOO’s own Q3 gaming co-chip.

At 298 grams the Pad Pro sits closer to a large phone than to a conventional tablet. iQOO’s own framing is that powerful hardware does not require a large body. It arrives a month after the iQOO Pad Ultra and sits a step below it in the lineup. The Ultra uses the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. No price has been announced for the Pad Pro yet, so that positioning is about hardware tiering rather than a confirmed cheaper price.

iQOO Neo 12: the leak is now company-sourced
The Neo 12’s headline specs have not changed since androidpure covered them on October 9. What has changed is who is saying them. Our earlier post, iQOO Neo12 Tipped for October With a 2K 185Hz Screen and a Fan, rested on tipster claims. iQOO’s own Weibo teasers now carry the same display, chipset and cooling details. ITHome covered each of them in separate pieces on October 9 and 10.
Two items are genuinely new. iQOO has confirmed a 9,000mAh battery. It has also given the active cooling system a name, Ice Dome, built around a circular rear vent and a redesigned airflow channel. ITHome additionally reports a square camera module reveal, with iQOO positioning the Neo series as a second flagship line alongside its numbered phones.

- Cooling: Ice Dome active cooling, with a circular rear vent and redesigned airflow channel

Pricing and Availability
The gaps here are the ones that usually decide whether a spec sheet is worth the money. Camera sensors, memory configurations and pricing are all still undisclosed for both devices as of October 10. iQOO says both arrive in China this month without naming a date, and it hasn’t announced plans for India. Reservations are open on the Pad Pro only.
