Images of Gionee S9 with Dual Camera, 4 GB RAM surface on TENAA

Two days back we reported that Gionee S9 with dual camera setup is certified by Chinese certification agency TENAA revealing all the technical specifications of the device. The TENAA listing though didn’t reveal the device images at the time of reporting and we had no clue on how Gionee S9 looks like and we were curious thanks to dual camera setup.

Today, TENAA has revealed the S9 and S9T device images revealing the design and build of these devices including the dual camera setup. Have a look at the images below for Gionee S9.

And here are the images for Gionee S9T:

As you can see from the images above, both S9 and S9T variants are same in terms of design and build, but differ in terms of color. The dual camera setup at back shows the two camera sensors placed vertically one above the other and LED flash next to it. Gionee logo can be seen below the camera setup with design similar to fingerprint sensor and hence we are not sure if the fingerprint sensor is at the back, at Gionee logo or if it’s integrated with the front home button.

As per TENAA listing, Gionee S9 sports a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by 1.8 GHz / 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system. It features a main dual camera setup with two camera sensors of 13 MP + 5 MP & front shooter of 13 MP for selfies and is backed by a battery of 3,000 mAh.

This full listing indicates that the official launch of Gionee S9 is round the corner and may happen soon. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
