Huawei Mate 9 official: 5.9 inch FHD display, Kirin 960, 4 GB RAM, Dual cameras

After much speculation, Huawei Mate 9 is now official. Huawei launched the successor to Mate 8 i.e. Mate 9 flagship at an event in Munich Germany. It comes with 5.9-inch Full HD 1080p, 2.5D curved glass display powered by Huawei own Kirin 960 octa-core processor along with Mali G71 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 256 GB and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei EMUI 5.0 on top of it.


In terms of camera, it comes with 20MP (Monochrome) & 12 MP (RGB) Dual rear cameras with Leica lenses, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, CAF, Laser AF, OIS, 4K video recording and a 8 MP front shooter with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed by a battery of 4000 mAh along with support for fast charging. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.

It will be available in China, Malaysia, France, Poland, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain, Japan, Thailand, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
