Gionee is going to launch Gionee S6 Pro on June 13 in China. S6 Pro is the successor of Gionee S6 which was launched in November last year in China and in February 2016 in India. As per the Invite shared by Gionee on their Weibo account, S6 Pro comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The good thing is, Gionee S6 Pro is already listed on TENAA revealing major hardware specifications and images of the device. As per TENAA listing, S6 Pro comes with model number GN9012. It sports a metal uni-body with a 5.5 inch Full HD display and is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP main rear camera with full HD 1080p video support and 8 MP front shooter for selfies. The listing also reveals an optical zoom of 4X, we need to wait for actual launch to see what this optical zoom of 4X means. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
It measures 153 × 75.3 × 7.6 (mm) which means it is 7.6 mm thick and weighs just 150 grams. It is backed by a battery of 3130 mAh capacity. It will be available in Gold color.
