Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone, called the Gionee Pioneer P2M, in India.
The P2M sports a 4-inch Display which supports WVGA 800*480 pixels, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 UI, and comes with a special Music Player, designed by the company.
The Gionee Pioneer P2M is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad processor (Cortex A7), with 1 GB of RAM and an ARM Mali400 MP GPU. In terms of storage, the phone has 16GB of internal memory, and supports up to 32GB of external memory.
The P2M features a5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2.0 Megapixel camera option, which supports V-gesture shot for selfies. The phone supports 2G, 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, network connectivity as well as FM Radio.It comes with a variety of sensors: Proximity sensor, G-sensor, E-Compass, Motion sensor, Light sensor and a Digital Compass.
The Gionee Pioneer P2M has Dual SIM card slots with support for Dual standby. The highlight of the device is the massive 3000 mAh battery.
The Gionee Pioneer P2M is available in three colours: White, Black and Gold. The phone measures at 124X62.5X10.9mm in dimensions, and has an SAR value of 1.060W/Kg @ 1g(Head) and 1.360 W/Kg @1g(Body). The phone weighs 140.0gm.
The Gionee P2M has been priced at Rs. 6,999 (MOP), in India.
