The Galaxy S26 FE is now on sale in markets around the world, and the loudest US offer attached to it comes from AT&T. The carrier’s own deals page lists Samsung’s newest Fan Edition phone at $2.43 per month for customers who add a line and order online, with no trade-in required. AT&T is selling it under the banner of getting the phone for less than $3 a month. That is a real number. It is also a three-year commitment, and the fine print says so.
What the AT&T Galaxy S26 FE deal actually costs
AT&T’s page shows $2.43 per month struck through against a regular $19.45 per month. The legal line under the offer states: “Req. eligible plan. Req. 0% APR 36-mo. agrmt. Well-qualified customers. Restrictions apply.”
Run the arithmetic. At $19.45 a month across 36 months, the phone’s full installment price works out to roughly $700, which matches its retail price. At $2.43 a month across the same 36 months, you pay about $87 in total. The remaining $600-odd arrives as monthly bill credits, not as a discount at checkout.
That distinction is the whole deal. Bill credits only keep landing while the qualifying line stays active on an eligible plan. Cancel the line, downgrade off the plan, or pay the device off early, and the credits stop. You are then holding the unpaid balance on a phone you thought cost $87. Three years is a long time to stay on one plan with one carrier, and the offer requires adding a new line, so it is not a way to cheaply upgrade the phone you already have. AT&T is also offering business customers the S26 FE at $0 per month with a new line, per Android Authority.
Galaxy S26 FE pricing and availability
Samsung’s own US launch materials put the 128GB Galaxy S26 FE at $699.99. SamMobile lists the full ladder as $699 for 8GB/128GB and $799 for 8GB/256GB in the US, with the 512GB tier not offered to US buyers at all. UK and European pricing runs £699 and €799 for the base model, £799 and €899 for 256GB, and £949 and €1,099 for the 512GB version that Americans cannot buy.
Retail offers vary by market. GSMArena’s launch-day roundup found Amazon US bundling a $200 gift card with the phone, Amazon UK selling it for £650 and £750 against Samsung UK’s £700 and £800, and Amazon Germany at €700 and €800 against Samsung’s €800 and €900. Samsung UK’s trade-in tops out at £356, while Samsung Germany goes as high as €755 plus a €100 bonus, valuing an S25 FE at €420 and an S24 FE at €300.
Three colours are on offer: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. On India, GSMArena checked both Samsung Canada and Samsung India on launch day and reported no sign of the phone in either store, so an India price and on-sale date have not surfaced yet.
One more thing worth knowing before you buy: the first software update for the S26 FE has already shipped in South Korea, carrying the August 2026 security patch with 56 fixes under firmware version S741NKSU1AZHD, per SamMobile. Other markets should follow shortly.

The support commitment is the strongest argument for this phone, and it is the reason the AT&T lock-in stings less than it otherwise would. A phone guaranteed patches into 2033 can survive a 36-month contract. Just go in knowing that the $2.43 figure is what you pay per month only if nothing about your account changes for three years.
