After over a year without updates, Fruit Ninja for Android just received a massive update.
The list of new features in the update is actually quite staggering.
The first of the major addition to the game is the inclusion of two characters from iOs, Gutsu the travelling merchant and his buddy Truffles.
The next major inclusion is , The pomegranate. You can destroy nearby fruits and clear bombs with it, just slice as many times as possible before it bursts. The pomegranate is available in Classic and Arcade modes.
That’s not all. They have added 3 new power ups, 8 New Blades (each with a unique power), and 7 new backgrounds.

Power-ups:
Use Starfruit to boost your arsenal with exhilarating power-ups and never before seen super fruit.
- BOMB DEFLECTS – Swat those pesky bombs into oblivion with this skilful new ninja move and watch your high scores rise!
- BERRY BLASTS – Prepare for things to get messy with this highly explosive new super fruit!
- PEACHY TIME – These succulent peaches add extra time to Arcade and Zen mode for longer games and seriously high scores. Push yourself to the limit as you battle to keep the clock ticking!
NEW MULTIPLAYER MODES:
Two players can now play head-to-head in the unique multiplayer modes Classic Attack and Zen Duel! It’s fast, frantic and hilarious action with two players battling it out to achieve sweet, sweet victory!
*Compatible with 7” tablets and up. Local multiplayer only. Eligible devices are automatically detected. The tablets get some unique multiplayer content.
