Huawei is set to launch two new flagship devices i.e. Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, powered by upcoming 7nm Kirin 980 processor next week i.e. on 16th October in London. The company has tried to keep a tight leash on the leaks, yet we have already seen the press renders of Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro and hence we already know that it features a waterdrop or teardrop display while the Mate 20 Pro features the usual wider notch.

Thanks to some case renders, we already know that both these flagship devices feature a triple camera at rear arranged in a rectangular array along with LED flash. We also assume that only the Pro variant features an In-display fingerprint sensor which is again confirmed by the case renders that have leaked today while the standard variant comes with the usual fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Check out the Cases images that have surfaced today for both the devices which confirm the earlier leaks.

Mate 20 Rumoured Specs:

Based on rumours, Huawei Mate 20 sports a 6.53-inch TFT LCD FHD+ display which has a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels, and a water-drop notch display design. The phone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 980 processor and has a fingerprint scanner on the rear. It is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. One interesting observation from these leaks suggests that Huawei Mate 20 has a port on the top of the device, which looks like a 3.5mm headphone jack while the pro variants have none.

Mate 20 Pro Rumoured Specs:

Whereas Huawei Mate 20 Pro is rumoured to feature 6.39-inch TFT OLED QHD+ display which has a screen resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, and a usual wide notch display design. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 980 processor and comes with an In-display fingerprint sensor.

TENAA listing suggests the following variants in terms of RAM + ROM combinations:

  • Mate 20 Pro:6GB RAM+256GB ROM,6GB RAM+512GB ROM;8GB RAM+128GB ROM,8GB RAM+256GB ROM,8GB RAM+512GB ROM
