Chrooma Keyboard, is one of the most unusual keyboard apps for Android. It is because of its Chameleon-like adaptive nature, which makes it take the accent colour of the application it is being used in.
So it changes its look with each app you open, pretty cool right?
Chrooma Keyboard was a paid app until today. Now it has gone free with IAPs for a Premium version. The features behind a paywall are:
- Multilingual Predictions
- Settings Synchronization
- Keyboard Style (Font, Themes)
- Number Row, Keyboard Size
Most of the paid features are available for free in rival keyboard apps, so making them premium, especially the option to resize the keyboard feels a bit odd. But the one time fee to unlock all features forever (even if the $2.49 price tag could deter most), is a welcome one, in today’s freemium keyboards with their ridiculously overpriced themes. There are optional IAPs for purchasing the specific features you want, though I don’t see why anyone should choose to, over the complete Pro pack.
Chrooma does offer some great features including Swipe typing, and support for Indic languages, auto correct and more.
