Mika Mobile is probably one of the most popular Android game developers, on the Google Play Store. The developer was initially viewed as being too defensive, when he abandoned the Android platform, due to rampant piracy, even though his games were of top quality.

The developer had a change of heart later, and returned to publish more games, premium of course. But his older games, the zombie shooter “Zombieville USA”, and the excellent party based RPG “Battleheart”, ran into newer troubles.

Neither game worked on devices running on Android Lollipop and above. Naturally, the only solution to this was to update the games to function on newer Android versions. But there came a hurdle, apparently the developer lost the Playstore keys which are required for updating the game.

And what he did was unique, and frankly, the best we expect from any developer. Instead of republishing the game as a paid title, which would irk previous buyers, he uploaded entirely new versions of the games, and released them for free. Don’t worry, the games don’t have any In App Purchases or ads.

Download  Zombieville USA and Battleheart for free and get gaming.

While you are at it, you could shell out $1 for Zombieville 2, which is about Rs 69 in India.
