ASUS ZenFone Selfie launched: Snapdragon 615, 13 MP Front Camera

At computex 2015, ASUS launched another device in Zenfone series i.e Zenfone Selfie which as the name suggests is primary targeted to consumers who are crazy enough to keep shooting selfies. Zenfone selfie sports front and rear cameras each with 13 MP PixelMaster with dual-color, dual LED Real Tone flash .

The rear camera comes with a large f/2.0 aperture lens and laser auto-focus technology to help shoot great pictures even in low light conditions. The front-facing camera has an f/2.2 aperture with 88-degree field of view to capture panoramic selfies of up to 140 degrees.

It sports a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, wide 178-degree viewing angle along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and pixel density of 403 ppi.

The device though is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 instead of the usual Intel Atom CPU supported by Adreno 405 GPU. The device will come with variants of 2GB /3GB of RAM along with 16/32/64GB storage options with support for expandable memory via Micro-SD cards.

It is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with ZenUI on top of it. In terms of battery, it sports a 3000 mAh Li-Polymer battery. In terms of colours, it will be available in Pure White/Chic Pink/Aqua Blue/Glacier Gray/Sheer Gold/Glamour Red.

ASUS is yet to announce the price and availability in different regions around the world. We will update you as and when we hear more about it.
