Apple’s Prime Day deals have widened well past headphones. Amazon has live discounts on the Apple Watch Series 12, two Mac mini models, the Mac Studio and the AirPods Max 2. We checked each price on Amazon’s own product pages on October 5, rather than trusting a round-up.
Apple Watch Series 12 at $349.99
The 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 12 in Light Gold Aluminum with a Sand Sport Band is listed at $349.99. That is $49 off. MacRumors calls it a new all-time low for the model.
One caveat matters here. The discount is tied to that specific color pairing. A different 42mm variant, the Black model, was still showing $399.00 when we checked. If you open a Series 12 listing and see a higher number, you are looking at a color that is not on sale.
Prices in this window also move fast. MacRumors reported a 46mm GPS deal earlier on October 5. By the evening, that exact listing had gone back up to a higher price. We are leaving the figure out rather than quoting a deal that has lapsed.
The SKU carrying the discount is the Apple Watch Series 12, 42mm GPS, Light Gold.
Mac mini and Mac Studio discounts
Three desktop configurations are discounted. All three matched their reported prices when we checked.
- Mac mini, M6, 16GB/256GB — $779.99
- Mac mini, M5 Pro, 24GB/512GB — $1,549.99
- Mac Studio, M5 Max, 36GB/512GB — $2,299.99, against a $2,499.00 list price
The Mac Studio is the only one of the three with a stated list price to measure against. MacRumors calls these the biggest cuts yet on the current Mac mini. We do not have a list price to measure them against.
AirPods Max 2 at $429
The AirPods Max 2 in Blue is listed at $429.00. MacRumors reports the same price across all five colors. Those are Blue, Midnight, Orange, Purple and Starlight. We verified the Blue listing directly and are passing on the other four as MacRumors’ claim.
At $429 these are still expensive headphones. If you were already weighing a pair, this is worth a look. Here is the AirPods Max 2 in Blue.
The AirPods Pro 3 deal is still live
We covered the AirPods Pro 3 at $179 on October 4. That price was still showing on Amazon when we re-checked on October 5. You can find the AirPods Pro 3 listing here.
One practical note for anyone shopping this week. Several of these prices are tied to a single color or configuration. At least one has already expired within a day. Check the price on the listing itself before you commit, because a deal round-up can go stale in hours.
