Previously, we reported that Xiaomi is prepping a new version of MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
While the company stated that it is coming soon, but it never gave a clear time frame for the same.
While it still has’t given an ETA, Xiaomi’s operation manager, has announced on Weibo that the new firmware update is in its final stages, and that it will be released soon for the Xiaomi Mi 4, Mi Note and Mi 3 soon. And apparently it could arrive as soon as today.
This is likely a beta version of the firmware. So, hopefully, we will see the global launch of the Android 6.0 Update soon.
