The update brings One UI Core 2 to the device, which as you may know is a lighter version of the regular One UI 2.0, sans some features.

The firmware adds Dark Mode with Darkened Wallpapers, Widgets, Alarms. The colours and icons in the interface are clearer, and you can use full screen navigation gestures. One handed mode is also available in the update.

The Android 10 Update for Galaxy M30s brings the latest security patch, i.e., the March Android Security Patch to the phone.

The update is currently being seeded, and many users on the Samsung community forums  are reporting that they have received it. If you haven’t, try navigating to Settings > Software update to check for the latest version manually.

Early user reports suggest that the response rate of the fingerprint scanner on the device has been improved.

The version number of the update is M307FXXU2BTC6 / M307FODM2BTC6/ M307FXXU2BTAL. The Android 10 Update for Galaxy M30s weighs about 1.4GB to download.

Samsung has updated several devices to Android 10 including the Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy M40, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 to name a few.
