Moto G is the most popular, best-selling Android smartphone ever released by Motorola thanks to its affordable price and decent hardware specs. It seems Motorola is taking a cue from the success of Moto G and is working on another device cheaper than even Moto G.
A leak from someone working at a Brazilian mobile operator suggests that the cheaper Motorola device will come with 4.3-inch display and powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage though, it will come with just 4GB of internal storage, though there is no word on support for Micro SD cards.
In terms of camera, it will feature a 5-megapixel camera. Aprt from these, it will come with 3G support, FM Radio antenna, 1900mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
The device may be just 6.2 mm thin.
The leak talks about three versions of the handset including the single-SIM XT1021, the dual-SIM XT1022 and the dual-SIM XT1025 (with digital TV support). The the dual-SIM XT1025 model will reportedly cost around $267.
The device may be launched in May 2014.
