LG G Pro 2 unveiled in Korea with 5.9″ Full HD Display, 3GB RAM, 13 MP Camera

Korean electronics giant, LG has unveiled the  LG G Pro 2 at an event in the Korean capital of Seoul.

The phone is powered by a  Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800 Quad Core processor clocked at 2.26 GHz, and 3GB DDR3 RAM.The G Pro 2 will run Android Kit Kat out of the box. But the highlights of the phone will be the 5.9-inch 1080p Display and the 13 Megapixel camera on the back. The rear camera is packed with various features such as, 120FPS HD Video Recording and Slow-Motion Editing, 4K ULTRA HD Recording, Natural Flash, Flash for Selfie, Burst Shot and Gallery Collage.

You can also lock your files, photos, videos, etc with a password using the Content Lock option. The phone also comes with Dual browser which divides the screen into two browser windows. You can even reduce the display size for one handed usage using the Mini View, options to shrink the display range from 3.4 inches to 4.7 inches.

The LG G Pro 2 also uses Knock Code (which is based on LG’s KnockOn technology), and will allow users to power on and unlock their G phones simply by tapping on the screen using one of 86,367 “knock” combinations. The knock patterns use anywhere from 2 to 8 taps, and can be entered on any area of the screen, whether the display is turned on or off.

The phone’s worldwide launch has not been determined by the company yet. However, visitors to the Mobile World Congress, can experience the LG G Pro 2 in all its glory at LG’s Booth in Hall 3 of Fira Gran.
