Apple’s second-generation AirTag is $23 on Amazon US, $6 below the $29 Apple charges in its own store. The AirTag 2 four-pack is $89 at Amazon, $10 under Apple’s $99 list price. We checked both prices between 2:53 pm and 2:57 pm ET on October 25 (00:23 to 00:27 IST, October 26). Deal prices like these can end at any time.

AirTag 2 deal: pricing and where to buy
- AirTag (2nd generation), single pack: New, $23 at Amazon. Apple’s list price is $29.
- AirTag (2nd generation), 4-pack: New, $89 at Amazon, shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Apple’s list price is $99.
MacRumors, which spotted the drop, says $23 is a new record low for the single AirTag 2. It also says $89 is the second-best price it has tracked for the 4-pack. We haven’t independently verified that price history.
If you’d rather pay Apple directly, both packs are on the Apple Store at full price.
What Apple says is new in AirTag 2
Apple says the second-generation AirTag has a speaker that is 50% louder. It also claims up to 1.5 times greater Precision Finding range. Apple says the tracker uses a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip of its own design.
- Finding: Second-gen Apple-designed Ultra Wideband chip, up to 1.5x Precision Finding range (Apple’s claim)
- Speaker: 50% louder (Apple’s claim)
- Durability: IP67 dust and water resistance
- Battery: User-replaceable
We haven’t tested the louder speaker or the longer finding range ourselves, so treat those as Apple’s figures.
An iPhone accessory, not an Android one
AirTag needs an iPhone or iPad to set up and to use with Apple’s Find My network. Android phone owners can’t set one up, so this deal is only useful in an Apple household.
On Android, Google’s own Pixel Tag was announced at $29. The Moto Tag 2 is back at $29.99 after its launch price ended. If you already own AirTags, note that Elevation Lab recently apologized for and pulled its AirTag silencer.
