Motorola’s stable Android 17 rollout has widened in the United States. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60 Fusion are now receiving the update, according to reports from Gizmochina and Android Authority. The Motorola Signature is also picking it up in India.

This follows the Razr Ultra (2026), which started getting stable Android 17 earlier this week. That build arrived as firmware A171WLH.38-19-5, with its security patch level still dated September 2026.
Devices now getting stable Android 17
The two outlets describe the current batch slightly differently, so here is what each actually says.
New in this round (United States)
- Motorola Edge 60 Pro
- Motorola Edge 60 Fusion
New in this round (India)
- Motorola Signature
Already on stable Android 17
- Motorola Razr Ultra (2026) — reported from October 6
- Motorola Signature and Motorola Edge 70 in the US, per Android Authority
Gizmochina lists the Signature among the initial US recipients, while Android Authority says it already had the update before this batch. We have kept the Signature’s India rollout as the genuinely new entry, since neither report contradicts that.
The Edge 60 Fusion’s India rollout is a separate matter, and androidpure covered that one back when it began. Today’s news is the same phone reaching US units.
Rollout timeline and what Motorola still is not saying
As of October 8, no rollout schedule has been published. Motorola is pushing this out in batches, so two owners of the same model in the same country can get it at different times. Check manually under Settings > System update.
That lack of visibility is the real complaint here. Motorola’s Android 17 beta started in February, and the company has not shared per-device rollout dates or changelogs as of October 8. There is a general support page listing Android 17 changes, including the new Quick Settings panel and stackable widgets. It will not tell you whether your phone is next.
For a buyer, that means the update promise on the box comes with no way to plan around it. It is not an impossible ask either. OPPO published a device-by-device ColorOS 17 rollout schedule ahead of its own release.
