iPhone 18 Pro Now Delivers in India in Under 10 Minutes

India’s quick-commerce apps delivered the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max to buyers’ doors in about 10 minutes on launch day, according to TechCrunch. Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and BigBasket all added the new iPhones to their catalogs alongside groceries and takeout, turning a launch-day queue into a same-app checkout.

How Fast, and How Many

BigBasket said it delivered more than 300 iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max units in the first hour of sales alone. On Instamart, Bengaluru led total orders, followed by Delhi. The Burgundy 256GB model accounted for nearly a third of all Instamart sales.

Blinkit listed the phones across ten cities: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow. Zepto covered a smaller list — Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai — starting September 18. Several platforms also ran bank-card offers worth up to ₹7,000 on top of the base price.

By evening, stock had thinned out in some areas even as it held up elsewhere, according to TechCrunch’s own reporting — a familiar pattern for any high-demand launch, quick-commerce or not.

Is This a Real Shift, or Just Launch-Day Noise?

India’s quick-commerce sector did about $9 billion in sales in the first half of 2026, with monthly users climbing from 8 million three years ago to more than 60 million now. Google and Deloitte both estimate the market could reach $50 billion by 2030, with electronics, fashion, and beauty making up 45% of that non-food spending.

Not every analyst is convinced this changes how people actually buy phones day to day. Tarun Pathak, research director at Counterpoint Research, put it directly: “The key question is whether this launch-driven demand can translate into regular smartphone purchases through quick-commerce platforms.” Navkendar Singh, associate vice president at IDC, was more blunt. He described it as largely a launch-day marketing phenomenon that creates noise around the release rather than a lasting shift in how people shop.

That skepticism is worth taking seriously. A 10-minute iPhone delivery is genuinely useful on launch day, when supply is tight and demand is loudest. But it says little about whether shoppers will keep using these apps for a phone purchase in March, instead of a planned trip to a store. For now, the fastest delivery win belongs to Apple’s own launch-day marketing as much as it does to Blinkit or Zepto.
