Four months after debuting in China, the Realme GT 2 has been launched in India. The flagship mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor clocked at 2.84GHz.
Realme has equipped the phone with a 6.62-inches AMOLED Full HD+ display that supports 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and is home to an in-display fingerprint scanner. The selfie lens on the screen is a 16MP Sony IMX 471 sensor with a 78° FOV, and an f/2.5 aperture.
The device runs on realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12, has an Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In the optics department, the phone has a triple camera array with a 50 megapixels Sony IMX 766 sensor that has an f/1.88 aperture, supports Optical Image Stabilization, an 84.4° FOV and an LED Flash.
Oddly, Realme has not revealed the details about the other two cameras. We only know that one of them is an ultra-wide angle lens, and the other is a Macro sensor. The Realme GT 2 packs a 5000mAh battery that can be charged to 100% in just 33 minutes, thanks to the 65W SuperDart fast charger. It has a USB Type-C for audio, data transfers and charging the battery.
The Realme GT 2 measures 162.9 x 75.8m x 8.6mm, and weighs about 199.8g. Sensors on the phone include a Magnetic Induction Sensor, Light Sensor, Color Temperature Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Gyro-meter, and an Acceleration Sensor. The smartphone has Super Linear Dual Speakers, Dual-mic Noise Cancellation, and is certified for Dolby Atmos Audio and Hi-Res Audio.

Realme GT 2 price in India
The Realme GT 2 price in India starts at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB/128GB version, while the 12GB/256GB trim carries a price tag of Rs. 38,999.
The phone will be available for purchase at 12PM on April 28th via Flipkart and Realme.com. The device comes in three colourways: Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black. Buyers can avail Rs. 5,000 instant discount by purchasing the phone using a HDFC Bank Card or EMI Transaction. The Chinese OEM has already launched the higher end version of the series, the Realme GT 2 Pro, in India.
