The Poco M4 Pro 4G has just been launched in India. The announcement comes just 2 weeks after the 5G version had debuted in the Country.
The device sports a 6.43-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2400 X 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 409 PPI, a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports DCI-P3 Color Gamut, 1000 nits brightness, 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 4500000:1 Contrast Ratio, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11, is powered by a 2.05GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor, with a Mali-G57 for the graphics. It has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 3GB virtual RAM, and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The main camera array on the back panel is home to triple lenses comprising a 64MP f/1.8 aperture lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an 118° FOV, f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Macro Lens, and an LED Flash. The front snapper on the handset is a 16MP f/2.45 selfie lens.
Poco has packed a 5000 mAh battery on the M4 Pro. The device supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports Hi-Res audio.
In terms of connectivity, the Poco M4 Pro 4G supports 4G LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz | 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and BEIDOU satellite location services. Sensors on the handset include a Z-axis linear motor, an IR Blaster, a side fingerprint scanner, an Ambient Light Sensor, a Proximity Sensor, an E-Compass, an Accelerometer and a Gyroscope. The phone measures 159.8 x 73.8 x 8.08mm, and weighs 179.5g. The device is rated IP53 for splash resistance.

Poco M4 Pro 4G price in India
Poco has priced the M4 Pro 4G starting at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB/64GB version, at Rs. 16,4999 for the 6GB/128GB model, and at Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB/128GB trim. It will come in 3 colours: POCO Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.
The brand has an introductory offer, during which buyers can avail Rs. 10,00 off of the device’s price, while making the purchase with a HDFC Debit/Credit Card. This brings down the price of the 6GB+64GB variant to INR 13,999, the 6GB+128GB model at 15,499, and 8GB+128GB version at Rs. 16,999 respectively.
Redmi is set to announce its Note 11 Pro series next week in the Country. And if rumours are to be believed, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G is a rebranded version of the Poco M4 Pro 4G.
