Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro with 67W and 120W fast charging announced

Earlier today, we reported that Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE.  The Chinese OEM launched two more phones during the event, this time in the flagship segment. These are the Xiaomi Mi 11T and 11T Pro.

Xiaomi 11T

Display and Operating System

The 11T is equipped with a 6.67-inches Full HD+ AMOLED DotDisplay, with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 Aspect ratio. The screen supports 120Hz Refresh rate, 480Hz Touch sampling rate, P3 wide color gamut, 5,000,000 : 1 Contrast ratio, 1000 nits brightness, HDR10+, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The Pro version’s screen has some additional features such as Dolby Vision, MEMC. The phones runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Processor, Graphics, RAM and Storage

The Xiaomi Mi 11T is powered by a 3.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra processor, while the 11 T Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform,. Both phones come in 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, but the PRo version has a 12GB RAM model with 256GB of on-board storage.

Connectivity

The phones have hybrid Dual SIM card trays and support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS: L1+L5Galileo: E1+E5a, GLONASS: G1, Beidou, QZSS:L1+L5A-GPS.

Cameras

The main camera set up on the Xiaomi 11T series comprises a 108MP wide angle camera, with 2.1μm pixel size, 9-in-1 Super Pixel, an f/1.75 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with 120° FOV, an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP telemacro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The front snapper is a 16MP selfie camera, with an f/2.45 aperture.

Battery, Dimensions, Weight

The battery on both phones are the same, and they charge over a USB Type-C port. But there is a big difference between the fast charging standards. The Xiaomi 11T supports  67W Xiaomi HyperCharge, which can fast charge the battery to 100% charge in 36 minutes. The Xiaomi 11T Pro supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge, which can fully top up the phone in just 17 minutes. Both devices weigh 203g and sum up to 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8mm.

Audio and Sensors

The handsets sport Dual speakers, with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification. The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro do not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the devices include a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Electronic compass , Linear motor, IR blaster, Barometer, Colour temperature sensor, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and AI Face Unlock via the selfie lens.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro price and colour options

Xiaomi 11T price in Europe has been set at 499 Euros for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB version costs 549 Euros. The Xiaomi 11T Pro has been priced at 649 Euros for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/256GB option costs 699 Euros. The top end model with 12GB/256GB carries a price tag of 749 Euros. Both phones will be available in three colourways: Meteorite Gray, Celestial Blue and Moonlight White.
