Nokia’s first Android phone, the Nokia Normandy has been drawing a lot of attention even before it’s launch, thanks to all the leaked images.
While an official launch date is not available yet, the Wall Street Journal reports that the Nokia Normandy will be unveiled later this month, at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona.
They also report that the device will be using Nokia’s own version of the Android OS, similar to the Amazon Kindle, but with a Windows Phone like User Interface.
The Nokia X will not have access to the Google Play Store, and instead will feature their own App Store. A list of supported apps include Skype,Twitter, Facebook, BBM,Vine, Viber, Opera, WeChat, Here Maps, Mix Radio and other apps from Microsoft as well.

The phone will be available in 6 colors, as pictured below.
While the device’s specifications are no where near good, their target appears to be the entry level market. Despite the low specifications the Nokia X will support games like Asphalt 8, Plants vs. Zombies 2.
Perhaps Nokia are looking for user feedback, and willingness to buy an Android device with a Windows Phone UI, before manufacturing similar phones with higher specs.
